Lincoln Artwork on Display on Mrs. Humphreys' Blog
Posted by

One of my goals for several years has been to create an online art gallery for my students and I am happy to say that goal has been met! On my site, you will find a piece of art for every student at Lincoln (unless they aren’t done with the project). Currently, there is just one project per grade, but I hope to get one or two more on by the end of the year. Please view the site and share with your family and friends. Below are two different ways to get to the site.
Go to the school website: www.washington.k12.ia.us
Click on Schools, then Lincoln Elementary, then Teacher Sites, then Mrs. Humphreys Art
or
Go type this site: https://sites.google.com/a/washington.k12.ia.us/lincoln-elementary-art/
I hope you enjoy the artwork! Jenny Humphreys, Lincoln Art Teacher

Halloween Party Information
The fifth graders will have Halloween activities Wednesday, October 31st, from 2:15 - 3:20. Students may dress in costumes if they wish. We ask that students do not come to school dressed in their costumes or with any type of face paint or make-up. Students will be allowed to change into their costumes before 2:15.
After those students have had time to get changed into their costume, we will have a Halloween parade, and costumes will be judged by celebrity judges. Winners of the costume contest will be chosen from each homeroom.
After the announcement of the costume contest winners, students will go back to their homeroom to enjoy snacks and a drink and watch a Halloween video.
